Planning services for the Feuerbach heating network The “Wärmenetz Feuerbach” project is intended to supply the Stuttgart-Feuerbach district with renewable heat. The supply area in the “Wärmenetz Feuerbach” project is included in the municipal heat planning Heat network suitability area - identified in in-depth study. The area has a heat requirement of approx. 31.2 GWh/a with a connection rate of 100%. A wood-fired boiler will primarily be used in the project. To cover peak loads and Redundancy should be provided via a biogas boiler. In addition, the use of locally available renewable sources of air also comes into consideration. The funding application for BEW Module 1 - Part 2 was submitted on February 17, 2026. The funding is approved Prerequisite for the realization of the “Heating Network Feuerbach” project.
