The planned construction of the district heating reheater (FWN) represents a central one Step in the transformation of the district heating supply in Mannheim. Against the background of the further short to medium-term shutdowns of the existing coal-fired power plant blocks of Grossfabrik Mannheim AG (GKM), the reheating of the District heating is an indispensable measure to ensure security of supply and the necessary temperature requirements in the district heating network in the long term.
