This project aims to establish a facility in local currency for SMEs for their
enable investment in self-consumption energy solutions.
The project includes the following components:
➢ Component A: Capacity building
✓ Capacity building of partner financial institutions in
the identification, evaluation, creation, processing procedures and marketing of photovoltaic project product offerings; and ✓ Strengthening the capacities of ANME in the development of private sector investment strategies and policies in decentralized renewable energies as well as support in the communication, promotion and
sharing knowledge with African countries, for example contributing to the establishment of the knowledge exchange platform of the African Association of
institutions responsible for energy management “AFRENER”.
➢ Component B: Development of a web platform to help businesses evaluate
PV investments and associated financial solutions, in particular:
✓ Provide information and tools to companies on energy solutions
decentralized renewables for self-consumption
✓ Make financing options available for these projects, including criteria
eligibility for access to the Tunisian Energy Transition Fund (FTE).
✓ Collect data on companies- solar installations in order to improve
visibility on the current market and its size
➢ Component C: Project management and audit of financial statements:
Strengthening the capacity of the ANME Project Management Unit (PMU) to implement the project through the recruitment of experts to strengthen the PMU
