Tender Details

Provision of transport services for the transport of the general public in local rail passenger transport (SPNV) including associated ancillary services on the railway infrastructure of DB Netz AG and DB Station1 Wismar - Rostock - Tessin and RB12 Bad Doberan - Rostock - Graal-Mueritz, individual journeys between Rostock and Ribnitz-Damgarten are not excluded; the services that are the subject of the contract are available for the start of operation from December 15, 2024 (annual timetable 2025) with an L1.4 million to 1.5 million train kilometers p.a. The contract term of the transitional contract to be awarded is limited to two annual timetable periods until the timetable change in December 2026.

Background: The procurement requirements will arise from December 15, 2024 due to the expiring VeTransport contract for the Warnow sub-network with the operator DB Regio AG. The operation in diesel traction is to be awarded with the transitional contract to be awarded in favor of the conversion to new battery-electric vehicles (BEMU vehicles) in the VerTransport contract for the Warnow II sub-network (Az. TED 2022/S 042-109755) to expire.
