The aim of this tender is to partially replace existing switches that do not meet the UMM requirements in terms of serviceability or the required PoE supply. The entire UMM campus is complete with active components of the manufacturer Extreme Networks. In addition to the device components for the LAN area, the associated licenses and maintenance contracts, this also includes a central management system with an integrated NAC function for the Cross-LAN/WLAN network access control for common network-capable devices and the people who use them. Partial replacement of existing switches In the course of this tender, approx. 30% of the switches in the access area of the UMM will be replaced by current, compatible systems are replaced because the systems currently in use have reached the end of their product life cycle or no longer meet the extended technical requirements of the UMM.
