Packaging material for object storage Building description The project is a depot building for 7 collections from the Berlin State Museums. The building is highly specialized in the storage, conservation and restoration of museum items Cultural assets and will be equipped with restoration workshops for many different material groups, 3D scanning rooms, photo studios and offices. Description of services The tender will be divided into two lots. Lot 1 contains polyethylene (PE) Foam panels, lot 2 contains museum boxes, corrugated cardboard and slip-lid cardboard boxes. Offers can be made on just one lot or both lots. Lot 1 - 574 pieces of PE foam panels, uncut - 7155 pieces of PE foam panels, cut to size Lot 2 - 930 pcs. Museum boxes, cut - 2304 pcs. corrugated cardboard, cut - 1680 pcs. cardboard boxes, slip lids Pollutant testing The use of low-emission materials is mandatory for storing museum exhibits. Performance requirements include: Testing the materials used (PE foam board, museum boxes, corrugated cardboard & cardboard boxes) for object compatibility using the Oddy test procedure. For all materials to be procured, material samples must be submitted for testing upon request by the client become. Eligibility to bid FB 124 2 references on experience with object storage in museums, not older than 3 years.
