In order to comply with the hygiene aid parameters required by the technical regulations and the health authority, a large amount of fill water must be added to the pool circuits, as these arise as concentration values (mG/l) in the reaction with chlorine. The Annual filling water requirement is approx. 57, 000 m³. The amount of filling water (top-up into the pool circuits) determines the energy requirement for water treatment. The parameters bound chlorine in mg/l and THM in mg/l are considered quality features.
In order to maintain these values, the pool water is... A significant amount of fresh water is added. This must be chemically conditioned and heated. Due to the high heat capacity of water, heating the pool water by 4 K (31C pool temperature, 27C filling water temperature) is very energy-intensive. Combined chlorine and THM are concentration values, which refer to the liter of pool water. Combined chlorine inevitably arises from the reaction of chlorine as a disinfectant with nitrogen or, in the case of THMs, from the reaction of chlorine with carbon.
The advanced process creates a mixture of chlorine and chlorine dioxide in the pool water for use. The disinfection by-products bound chlorine and THM, which determine the filling water requirement, are not formed during the reaction with chlorine dioxide.
Technically, the expanded process requires the use of two additional aids for each pool water circuit Improvement...
