Consistency of services:
The overall objective of this workshop is to raise awareness and strengthen the capacities of stakeholders in the tourism and leisure sector of the Eastern Region on hospitality and hygiene techniques during a COVID-19 pandemic., the quality of service and the safety of tourists with a view to improving the image of the Cameroon destination.
More specifically, it involves:
Sensitize stakeholders in the sector on the importance of hospitality and its impact on the development of tourism in general and that of Cameroon in particular;
Promote the qualities necessary to welcome tourists or customers during this COVID-19 pandemic period;
Help seminarians acquire reception and service techniques both in accommodation and in catering and leisure;
Impregnate participants with hotel waste management techniques, food preservation methods and preventive measures against food contamination and poisoning;
Maintain seminarians on ethics and professional conduct in the hotel trades;
Encourage the participants to set up strategies to combat insecurity in tourist structures in the Eastern region.
