The Friedrich Schiller University Jena intends to obtain a visually parametric amplifier (grandpa) for a YB-based femtose laser (i.e. a femtosecond laser with approx. 1030 nm wave length) in order to create its pulses for pulses of other wit lengths, especially the wave range from 700 to800 nm convert. The research planned with the laser system includes in particular the generation of a continuous spectrum of high harmonious through frequency mix for the ultra-fast xUV imaging. Another application concerns coincidence impulse spectroscopy with atoms, Ions and molecules. The minimum requirements of Appendix 2 must be met. In particular, the grandpa has been proven to be compatible with a ytterbium-based pumpplaser of the "Light Conversion Carbide" type be.
