The health insurers involved are pursuing the goal of concluding discount agreements for the active substance insulin glargine (potency: 100 U/ml) with all suitable pharmaceutical companies in accordance with Section 130a (8) SGB V. The contract is concluded as part of the Open House Biologicals procedure of the health insurance companies involved:
Individual negotiations about contract content are not conducted, uniform conditions apply. The cash registers involved do not guarantee individual contractual partners any exclusivity. The contract period is a maximum of 24 months starting on September 1st, 2023. The contract ends no later than 31.08.2025, regardless of the date of conclusion of the contract.
