FairNetz GmbH is planning to build a wastewater heat pump and a large heat storage facility as part of the project to decarbonize Reutlingen's district heating. In order to temporally decouple heat generation and heat consumption, a further measure should be a large heat storage unit with a Storage volume of approx. 5, 000 m³ can be built. This enables the generation systems (heat pumps and CHPs) to operate in the most electricity-optimized and market price signal-oriented way possible. The system technology for operating the large heat storage facility (loading and unloading pumps, Cushion steam system, pipes, pressure maintenance system, electrical engineering, MSR technology, ventilation / air conditioning / heating and sanitary installations). However, this system technology is not part of this tender. Likewise, the district heating connection line between the pump building of the large heat storage and the heat pump building are advertised separately.
