New building of the Leibniz Institute for Regional Studies on Wilhelm-Leuschner-Platz in Leipzig, here precast concrete facade.
Created after an architectural competition a new institute building for the Leibniz Institute for Regional Studies Leipzig, consisting of an underground car park, ground and mezzanine floors and six upper floors. The sustainable building also has a green roof, spacious interior greenery in the multi-story atrium and a geothermal system.
With In this tender, the services of the precast concrete facade are advertised:
Approximately 3, 400 m2 of facade cladding made of prefabricated concrete parts, not ventilated, core-insulated with mineral wool insulation.
The facade is divided into two main areas, the magazine with one closed facade and the office facade (structured by pillars and sills made of prefabricated concrete parts). The base area of the entire building is designed as a two-story pillar facade (structured by pillars and sills made of prefabricated concrete parts).
North facade of the office: structured by pillars and sills made of prefabricated concrete parts, low plasticity, right-angled facade pillars. Approx. 1, 645 m2
