The BGZ for interim storage mbH operates an interim storage facility (transport container storage facility Ahaus) for the storage of nuclear fuel and other radioactive substances on the property at Ammeln 59, on the L570 between Ahaus and Schoeppingen. The transport cask storage facility in Ahaus (TBL-A) is currently being securedtechnically upgraded. In the course of retrofitting, a technical building has to be rebuilt.
The following structural measures have to be carried out:

- earthworks (excavation pit, cable duct, empty pipes)
