Tender Details

The city of Delmenhorst is planning to build a new special school with a focus on intellectual development. The new building is to be realized on the property at Försterhof. The preparation decision for the development plan No. 402 (25/51/011/BV-R) for the property is already available. The current school on Karlstrasse is a public support center. In the 2025/2026 school year, 185 students (SuS) will attend this school. This school year there are 98 teachers, pedagogical staff, Therapists and social workers at the school (plus school secretariat and caretaker). Due to the sharp increase in the number of students, the school has been teaching at three locations since 2019: on Karlstrasse, on Steller Strasse and on Fröbelstrasse. The Distribution across three locations places a high burden on everyone involved on site. In addition, the intended class divider cannot be adhered to in all grade levels. The new school building is intended to provide “learning under one roof” for all grade levels Enable special education.
