The city of Waren intends to plan and implement a new port for passenger shipping and open space design at the stone pier in Waren (Mueritz).
The new building, The purpose of the port facilities is to expand the existing harbor basin by means of an extended pier on the western side and to improve the berthing conditions, while at the same time increasing the berthing capacity for passenger shipping in order to exclude the city port from passenger shipping relieve.
For this purpose, the quays must be upgraded or renewed and their supply and disposal facilities must be completely rebuilt.
The surface of the walking and strolling areas as well as the design of the functional rooms and the open spaces in the entire port area must be comprehensively renewed and thus to reshape.
