Tender Details

The Bodenseekreis district office is planning to build a new road maintenance depot in 88677 Markdorf, Riedheimerstraße 20, in the Oberfischbach-Ost area, on a plot of land measuring approximately 13, 000 m². The new location will be in the industrial area to the west replace the existing location, which is only about 600 meters away. In addition to Markdorf, the Bodenseekreis operates road maintenance depots in Überlingen and Tettnang, so there are a total of three locations in the region. Markdorf is due to its central location in the Lake Constance district represents an ideal location for this project. The central location of the new building results in synergy effects with the adjacent uses, which will optimize operational processes in the future. The new road maintenance department is over a modernly equipped washing hall, a vehicle hall, a vehicle workshop, a large salt hall with salt silo, and administration rooms. A planned roundabout, which will be built from May 2025, will ensure optimal traffic access area and an adjacent residential area. The road maintenance department at the Markdorf base is implemented in building parts X1 and X2 and is divided into different functional areas.
