The Central Hospital project represents the completion of the structural and functional development of health care and builds on the two previous major health care projects (new buildings NPP and ELKI). Only when the central clinic is built will it be possible to expand servicesg to be fully achieved and to generate savings in operations.
The first construction phase is to be a heart center, which includes internal medicine II (cardiology) and cardiac surgery with integrated emergency radiology. The building has a gross floor area of 31, 300 m2.
In the first construction phaseThe rough excavation with the formation of a Berlin shoring and the bored pile foundation were carried out. After completing the remaining work from the measures in the area (MiU), the shell construction began work in September 2021. The outdoor facilities are expected to be completed with the factory and assembly planningIt will begin in January 2024 and the work will be carried out on the construction site in the planned period from June 2024 to November 2024.
Services for the outdoor facilities trade are to be commissioned as part of a Europe-wide open tender.
