New construction of a border control point at Cologne/Bonn Airport - timber construction and roof sealing Description: Due to restructuring in the areas of logistics and operations at Cologne/Bonn Airport, a new location for the border control point (hereinafter GKS) has been opened required on the western airport premises. The veterinary station is one Border inspection post (GKS), in which the border inspection post of the Environment and Consumer Protection Office, food monitoring and veterinary services of the city of Cologne is responsible. Animals and products of animal origin, but also foods of plant origin, are examined before importation into the EU in order to prevent the introduction of animal diseases or dangers to consumers. The new building is therefore a Goods inspection and administration building. The subject of this tender is timber construction and roof sealing work. The planned new building does not have a basement and consists of two full floors, with the ground floor in solid floors and the upper floor in Wooden construction is built. The supporting structure corresponds to the skeleton construction (reinforced concrete on the ground floor, wood on the upper floor) with reinforcing reinforced concrete walls. Non-load-bearing interior walls are made of solid construction (masonry) on the ground floor and lightweight construction (drywall construction) on the upper floor. The floor slab and the ceiling above the ground floor are made of reinforced concrete, the ceiling above the upper floor (flat roof) is made of solid wood.
