New conception of the Erich Maria Remarque Peace Center; Planning services for exhibition design The subject of the order is the planning services for exhibition design in accordance with the performance profile of the exhibition design in accordance with HOAS, service phases 1 (partial) to 7. The Erich Maria Remarque Peace Center is an institution of the city of Osnabrück and has been at its current location, Markt 6, 49074 Osnabrück, since September 1996. In addition to a permanent exhibition on Erich's life and work Maria Remarques holds special exhibitions on related topics several times a year. In addition, the Peace Center is established as an extracurricular learning location and as an event location (readings, lectures, discussions, music) in Osnabrück and the region. A shop offers the opportunity to purchase publications from and about Remarque. As part of a planned structural renovation (March 2027 to August 2028), the Erich Maria Remarque Peace Center in Osnabrück will be reorganized in terms of content and curatorial. After Once the structural work has been completed, the new, contemporary and thematically structured permanent exhibition "My topic is the people of this century - the question of humanity" is scheduled to open in November 2028, supplemented by a dynamic foyer for Temporary exhibitions as well as a flexible and expanded sales room.
