There the water is used by around 10, 000 residents from the districts Wildberg, Effringen, Gültlingen, Schönbronn and Sulz cleaned on the corner. There is also the connection to a soda factory. The majority of the sewage treatment plant was built in 1980. In 2001, the sewage treatment plant was expanded to include a second road, so that the sewage treatment plant has since then consisted of two separate biological cleaning lines. The water is divided into the two streets in the sand trap drain and is brought back together in the drainage structure after secondary clarification. The city of Wildberg sees the construction of a 4th cleaning stage. The most suitable construction area for the construction of the 4th purification stage is the area of the combination basin (preliminary treatment, aeration basin) on street 1. Accordingly, in order to realize the 4th purification stage for secure wastewater treatment new aeration tank volume will be made available.
