Construction lot 1: Section A: Mast 134 to Mast 175 of the 449/450 (approx. 14.5 km) and Section B: Mast 175 to Mast 176 of the 449/454 including Mast 175/176 to Mast1E (UW Eisenach) of the 449/450/454 (approx. 0.73 km) Construction lot 2: mast 176 to mast 248 of the 449/454 (approx. 28.9 km) Construction lot 3: mast 248 to mast 311 of the 449/454 (approx. 24.7 km) Construction lot 4: Mast 311 to UW Vieselbach of the 449/454 (approx. 18.1 km) As part of the energy transition and to ensure a secure energy supply, the AG plans to implement project no. 12 “High-voltage line Vieselbach - Eisenach - Mecklar; three-phase nominal voltage 380 kV” in accordance with the Federal Requirements Plan Act (BBPlG). The project is divided into two sections: Section A: UW Vieselbach to the Thuringia/Hesse control area border (50Hertz), approx. 87 km of existing pipeline. (Scope of this tender!) Section B: Thuringia/Hesse control area border to UW Mecklar (TenneT), approx. 43 km of existing line. The aim is to increase the transmission capacity between the Vieselbach and Mecklar substations by 2, 520 A to 4, 000 A. For this purpose, the existing 380 kV overhead line 449/450/454 in the 50Hertz area of responsibility will be upgraded to a current carrying capacity of 4, 000 A by re-roping it with high-temperature conductor cables (ACPS-HTLS).
