Electricity former network area Wesertal (HM)
WWN operates supply networks for gas, water, district heating, electricity and a small amount of sewage in several districts in North Rhine-Westphalia and Lower Saxony. These networks are documented in the GE Smallworld GIS. Due to WWN's corporate history, the data has come together from several sources that are based on different systems and collection rules - as a result, this data is not homogeneous in its presentation content. Among other things, several different basemaps were used for display and as a dimension reference point. This includes old ALK databases and self-collected data. In large areas of the supply area, for example, there are several digital buildings for every real building which do not necessarily have an identical position or have congruent geometries, but have all been used. Since the entire base map stock is not in the correct position, is no longer up to date and is difficult to manage due to the situation described above, WWN now wants to open the base map Change ALKIS.
