MVB has decided to transform from the current SAP R3 to SAP S/4 Hana. The current SAP system has been in operation since 2009 and the switch to S4 Hana is scheduled to be completed by January 1st, 2027. Due to the long operating time of the R3, the Data quality suffered. Material master records that are no longer used or duplicate business partners are currently causing increased costs in the processes. The MVB is therefore against a pure system conversion, but in favor of a greenfield approach selective data transfer was decided. The aim of the transformation is to leave legacy issues behind and use systemic innovations through S4 Hana. The symbol is “cleaning up the garage (R3 system)”. This project consists of 2 milestones: 1. Finding the implementation partner for the S/4 transformation 2. Finding the hosting partner for the S/4 Hana systems IT services: consulting, software development, Internet and support (CPV code: 72000000)
