Municipal treasury service Municipal treasury service. The object of this contract is the treasury service of the Municipality of Taranto and consists of the complex of operations linked to the financial management of the local authority, aimed in particular to the collection of revenues, the payment of expenses, the custody of securities and valuables and the related obligations required by law, by statute, by the regulations of the entity or by contractual provisions. The successful banking institution assumes the role of Treasurer and provides for all the burdens required by law and by this Specification, assuming the related responsibilities. The contract is lump sum and consists of a single lot as, due to the characteristics of the service and the particular methods execution of the services, a unitary and homogeneous management by a single economic operator is necessary, in order to ensure the effective coordination of the activities covered by the contract and the optimization of resources. The amount the total amount of the contract based on the tender for the five-year period amounts to €. 1, 600, 000.00 (one million six hundred thousand/00 euros), VAT exempt. They are not included in the amount based on the tender, as they are possible and dependent on actual activation, the charges connected to the cash advance (interest and availability commission).
