Munich-Prague Transition (MPrÜ) Public service contract in local rail passenger transport within the meaning of Article 5 Para. 1 of Regulation (EC) No. 1370/2007. Operation of regional transport with a volume of approximately 1.87 million train kilometers per year on the following lines: R.E 25 Munich Hbf - Landshut Hbf - Regensburg Hbf - Schwandorf - Cham - Furth im Wald - state border D/CZ and RE 23 Munich Hbf - Regensburg Hbf - Hof Hbf as a single pair of trains. Transport services will be available from December 10, 2028, the first day of operation after the big one Timetable change in 2028, to be provided after the night break. The traffic implementation contract to be concluded ends with the major timetable change in 2031, on December 13th, 2031.
