General: 1. The call will cover the procurement of the Main Structure, which consists of: -Main support structure (MSS): which is the main mechanical system that provides support and stiffness to all the payloads (as defined below). -Cu selector, hosted by the Main structure, that provides the capability to select the various Calibration systems. -Thermal Enclosures that provide thermal insulation to the optical system. Including the one on top of MICADO to insulate M12M. -Thermal duct and its support structure, which provide optical and thermal connection between MORFEO and MICADO. 2.The call will also cover the procurement of all the necessary AIV tools to integrate and remove all the payloads and the components of Main Structure. 3. It will comprise the final design plus manufacturing, assembly, integration and verification in operational conditions. The verification should preferably be performed by testing in a representative environment. Verification by analysis could be acceptable if agreed with the customer. Finally, the deliverables will be tested at the company premises and delivered at the integration hall in Europe (Bologna, Italy). The transition between the final design phase and the manufacturing phase will be subject to internal and external constraints (technical verification and acceptance of the Final Design by MORFEO Consortium and ESO, plus funds availability). 4.
