Mooring boats
Deutsche Energy Terminal GmbH (hereinafter "client" or "DET") writes the award of mooring boat services for the Liquefied natural gas terminal in Stade. The Federal Republic of Germany holds 100% of the shares in DET. The client is primarily responsible Operator of liquid gas terminals, so-called "Floating Storage and Regasification Units" (FSRU). On behalf of the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy, DET operates the first German terminals through which the LNG from the ship is fed into the gas network. There are currently four liquefied natural gas terminals on the North Sea coast under the control of the DET. The liquefied natural gas terminals in Wilhelmshaven 1 and 2 as well as Brunsbuettel are already in operation, with the next liquefied natural gas terminal following in Stade. The DET was set up to manage the charters of the FSRUs, the construction of the shore-based to support the infrastructure and in particular to assume operational responsibility for terminal operations. For this purpose, we rely heavily on experienced service providers. The DET cooperates with numerous partners, in particular ship owners, port operators, network operators and licensing authorities and gas traders. DET offers the regasification capacities to LNG suppliers and receives usage fees for the infrastructure services provided.
