Smart City model project, education field of action: Cluster - Central Places - Task: As part of the needs/stock analysis within the strategy phase of the Smart City field of education, eight educational goals were defined for the implementation phase: skills development, more self-determination, etcd Participation, access for all, anti-discrimination in the digital space, merging of the analog and digital world, trying out and promoting areas of interest, digital collaboration and communication, goals of sustainable development.

Following on from this, within the framework of the "Zentr"Ale Places" is the establishment of a central extracurricular learning location for digital education in Halle-Neustadt and, based on this, to implement low-threshold and continuous qualification offers for young people in other central locations in their lives. The aim is to intrinsically mto promote motivated learning processes regarding digital techniques/tools at different competency levels. In addition, the young people should be qualified as multipliers for other population groups and supported in the implementation of their multiplier function.The target group is primarily teenagers and young adults, although groups with different access requirements (with/without a migration background, male/female, ...) must be taken into account.
