Expression of Interest are invited for Migration from SAP Former Budgeting to Budget Control System (CO-FM to BCS).

1. The African Development Bank hereby invites Individual Consultants to indicate their interest in the following Assignment: Migration from SAP Former Budgeting to Budget Control System (CO-FM to BCS).

2. The main purpose of the assignment is to assist the SAP Team within IT Department for the Migration from SAP Former Budgeting to Budget Control System (FM to BCS).

The selected Consultant should understand the current Budgeting system in SAP and help IT team with Migration from SAP Former Budgeting to Budget Control System.

The consultant’s duties will include:

? Gather the Bank’s requirements with respect to Migration plan of SAP FM to SAP BCS.
? Understand the existing Former Budgeting system.
? Design and implementation of the Solution.

? Transport the developed solution from the Development platform to the Quality Assurance platform in the SAP landscape.

? Follow up with the users and other key Bank staff in carrying out the quality assurance tests and effect requested amendments and corrections. Provide the required documentation.

? Ensure seamless integration to existing enhancements and standard SAP modules already in within the Bank.
? Provide the required documentation.
? Ensure knowledge proper transfer to Bank’s Staff.

3. Essential skills/Competencies:
? At least Master Degree in Computer science or related field.

? Candidate must have at least 5 years of SAP CO and FM, BCS working experience is needed.


? Expertise in PSM-FM (Former Budgeting) with exposure to BCS integrated components.
? Should have worked on Migration from Former Budgeting to BCS.
? Independently manage the Classic FM to BCS migration project.

? Analyze user requirements; translate high-level requirements into detailed functional specification.

? Hands on experience in developing technical specifications for SAP custom modules and interface programs.

? Experience in conducting system verification and validation by examining the correctness, completeness, reliability, and maintainability at each step in the development process.
? Review all development efforts affecting existing functionality to understand integration and process impact and ensure reliability, and completeness of the development process.
? Prior financial systems development and/or professional experience.
? Experience with Public Sector business processes to resolve challenges involving
SAP Configuration and Customizing is added advantage.

4. The Corporate Information Technology Services Department (CHIS) invites Individual Consultants to indicate their interest in providing the above-described services. Interested Consultants shall provide information on their qualifications and experience demonstrating their ability to undertake this Assignment (documents, reference to similar services, experience in similar assignments, etc).

5. The eligibility criteria, the establishment of a short list and the selection procedures shall be in conformity with the Bank’s procedures for the acquisition of consulting services funded by the administrative or capital expenditure. Please, note that interest expressed by a Consultant does not imply any obligation on the part of the Bank to include him/her in the shortlist.

6. The estimated duration of services is six (06) months and the estimated starting date is 03 September 2018.
