a) The subject of the services to be provided is the conclusion of a framework agreement with a trading partner (contractor) for the purchase of Microsoft products with and without Software Assurance (SA) as well as other services in connection with this associated with the acquisition and management of these products. The basis for this is the agreement between the Federal Republic of Germany, represented by the Federal Ministry of the Interior (BMI), and Microsoft Ireland Operations Ltd. completed Condition contracts and, if applicable, the contracts that replace them during the term of the framework agreement. b) The framework agreement will have a term of three years with a one-off extension option of one year. c) The Free State of Thuringia and thus the authorities of the state administration of Thuringia, the administrative areas of the Thuringian universities and colleges as well as are entitled to issue accession orders and requests on the basis of this framework agreement other Thuringian authorities and institutions. The eligible institutions are listed in detail in Appendix 3 of the framework agreement, which is part of the published tender documents. The accessions of the eligible institutions refer to the BMI Enterprise Agreement Conditions Agreement and the BMI Select Plus Conditions Agreement.
