The starting point is the ever progressing introduction of AI shares in classic software. The topic of "verification and validation" (V&V) is also increasingly becoming the focus of these shares. Solutions with AI shares that are subject to a continuous learning process do not correspond to that Conventional software life cycle. The V&V process established in the Bundeswehr must therefore be expanded.

The recommendation of action is given from the position paper approved by the inspector cyber and information room, the recommendation for action, in the BMVG business area for validation, verification and to create conformity testing of AI modules. The corresponding functionalities and skills are to be developed at the center for digitization of the Bundeswehr and capacity development CIR (ZDigBW). As part of an existing project, it was decided to to make a study using a study.

The aim of this study is therefore the development and application of a V&V process for verification and validation From software systems with AI content in the area of BMVG. The study focuses on the aspects of "data quality", "process design and "Process application". As part of the application, a demonstrator is to be created, which implements the results on an environment provided by the task actor.

With the chosen topic, the study addresses a cross -area topic with outstanding interest within the entire BMVG.
