Tender Details

Lots: Ophthalmic knives must be disposable and consist of two parts - a cutting blade and a handle. The blade should always be made of stainless steel (grade 420) (SS). Handles should be made of polycarbonate or ABS. All knives must be intended for single use only and sterilely packaged in blister packs. Ophthalmic knives, sterile, disposable use should be intended for ophthalmological surgeons to make cuts, tunnels, pockets during ophthalmic surgical procedures. Knives must be designed to make wide cuts of a certain width necessary for almost all actions performed during phacoemulsification. These knives should have two identical cutting surfaces located at an angle, which should make it easier to make the cut and allow the cut to gradually widen as the knife deepens. The blade width at its widest point should be 2.2 mm.
