In the "Aviation Requirements and Environmental Impacts" department of the DLR Institute for Electrified Aircraft Propulsion, the generation of noise on electrified powertrains and individual components of the powertrain is to be investigated in the near and far field. One related to the SchallentsThe main component of such systems is the electrical machine. In order to be able to specifically examine electrical machines, transmissions and associated power electronics as well as more complex overall drive systems with regard to their noise generation, an acoustic engine tester is to be set upfstands (AMP) in Cottbus. This consists of a sound-reflecting half-room with the appropriate acoustic measurement and evaluation technology and an integrated test bench for recording the performance parameters (e.g. speed, torque) of the components at variousn operating points.
As part of this tender, acoustic measurement and evaluation technology such as microphones, acceleration sensors and a data acquisition system are to be procured in 11 lots.
