Max Planck Institute for Gravitational Physics, Hanover Reconstruction and expansion of building 3405 - “Project management”
At the MPI for Gravitational Physics Hannover (Albert Einstein Institute - AEI), basic experimental research is carried out in the areas of laser interferometry, laser physics, quantum optics and precision measurement technology in order to enable current and future generations of gravitational wave detectors on earth and in space. The institute is spread over several buildings. The institute's buildings are located on the Schneiderberg campus of the Leibniz University Hannover. When planning and managing the construction site setup and logistics, it must be taken into account that the neighboring buildings are in operation and there is little open space available. As part of the upcoming work, two measures must be coordinated, which must be carried out in parallel at times and managed in close coordination with the client, user and planning team: project 305 (measure QOP1 305 conversion and expansion) and project 307 (renovation of building 3401), whereby buildings 3401 and 3405 are connected to each other by a glazed bridge on the 1st floor.
