The Master Plan Southwest Saxony is a strategic project of the five local authorities in the region - district of Zwickau, Erzgebirge district, Vogtlandkreis, district of Central Saxony and City of Chemnitz - for the active design of the profound structural change as a result of the transformation of the Automobile industry. The aim is to develop a future -proof, economically resilient overall strategy, which shows concrete options for action, regional guiding principles and implementable measures. The process is supported by the Free State of Saxony as part of individual case funding to broad participation of business, science, society and politics.
Power package 1
The aim is to participate in the participation of a clear, Future -oriented vision for the Chemnitz/Southwest Saxony region and a model based on it. This vision should be from regional Actors supported, broadly accepted and actively used in downstream implementation processes. It is intended to integrate economic, ecological and social aspects, but be able to connect for funding providers, companies and institutions and at the same time an ambitious, realistic picture of the Design the future.
