No. in the PPM ( Servicede Consultants) The Government of Cameroon has re theRepublicceived funding from the International Development Association (IDA) and intends to use part of the proceeds of this credit to payments autitre perform the following contract : Mastery of complete piece of signaling and development work establishment of a safety device on the Douala- Kousseri Corridor.
the Consultant services (" services ") include two (02) midssionsdécrites summarized below :
Mission 1: technical studies necessary for the establishment of the detailed design (ODA) records Bidding (DAO) for signaling works and safety devices corridor (Douala - Kousséri ) Mission 2 : Control of work: Directorate of works (DET), scheduling, control, coordination(OPC ) desactivités the site and Assistance to reception operations ( AOR). Mission1 : Réalisationdes étudestechniques The route of the corridor is concerned : Douala - Yaounde - Ngaoundere Bertoua - Garoua - Maroua - Kousseri.
The sections under construction are not affected by the partieétude for their own signaling plans contained in contracts relating thereto. However, pour harmonieet ensure consistency of all signaling and safety and retenuedu corridor devices, different designalisation plans must be consulted and to make necessary relevant observations.
The study will account
.A :
the establishment and / or the complete rehabilitation of the vertical horizontaleet signaling throughout the corridor; the reparing some slides sécuritéarrachées, when possible; desglissières replacing damaged or missing, where necessary ( if clearly needed ), the replacement of existing rails by GBA barriers or other more efficient system to leszones risquesélevés or proven; repair and / or replacement of safety and restraint systems(barriers, etgardes corpsendommagés tags on some items); the installation of new security features and deretenue in some dangerous sections.
At the end of the road reconnaissancede, the consultant will produce a diagram of the route and a plot of the planet in the long axis highlighting a commentaireet a road cliché actions envisaged.
The statement of Itinerary parl''''utilisation GPS should give :
the general situation of the road ( corridor ), the current situation of signalisationhorizontale and vertical; the current situation of the slides etleur state, the position of the crossings, the cities and towns, and the intersections, summits coast and curves, etc.
Where possible, the different amounts of signals andof safety and restraint systems must êtredétaillées (eg total quantities defective quantities? )
The report prepared following the route of the statement must include:.
pictures positioned plan showing the current problems; detailed observations; lesactions considered; a copy of schémaitinéraire
At the end of the Consultant devraproduire Mission 1 :
an i- st.contribution reconnaissancede road ( Corridor : Douala - Kousséri ) with patterns of routes;
ii- A report of detailed design (ODA) for all work to be performed;
iii- A record of Appeld''''offres (DAO ) to carry signaling works and safety and restraint systems;
-A confidential estimate of work ( with sousdétail and price schedule ).
Note:This provision does not apply to lagéométrie nor pavement structures or work on the roadway and shoulders route
Mission. 2: Control and monitoring destravaux
It includes the implementation phase of the work, lesprestations following :

iii- receiving assistance operations ( Regulation of completion )
