Expression of Interest are invited for Market Scan - Creative Industries in Egypt, Nigeria and Senegal
The sector scan aims at helping IFC better understand and quantify the potential of selected creative subsectors in three pilot countries to inform the design of potential upstream and advisory interventions that could pave the way for IFC investments. The assessment will therefore seek to provide industry data related to the current size and potential growth and provide an overview of the selected creative industry subsectors, current trends and players with a particular focus on potential barriers to investment. A particular focus should be on legal, regulatory and market access issues, the entrepreneurship ecosystem and the role and capacity of governments to support the growth of these industries. The sectors scans should also provide recommendations towards improving the policy and business environment and identifying a pipeline of potential opportunities for investment. The selected sectors are digital content in Egypt, film and music in Nigeria and fashion and music in Senegal.
The World Bank Group now invites eligible firms to indicate their interest in providing the services. Interested firms must provide information indicating that they are qualified to perform the services (brochures, description of similar assignments, experience in similar conditions, availability of appropriate skills among staff, etc. for firms; CV and cover letter for individuals). Please note that the total size of all attachments should be less than 5MB. Consultants may associate to enhance their qualifications.
