According to the Regulation on the European Health Data Space (EHDS Regulation), the Federal Republic of Germany is obliged to set up a National Contact Point for eHealth (NCPeH) in order to connect to the MyHealth@EU infrastructure ensure. The NCPeH serves the secure exchange of structured health data in the event of treatment. The intended use cases include: •E-prescription (ePrescription and eDispensation, short: ePeD) •Electronic patient summary (patient summary, short: PS) •Medical test results, including laboratory and other diagnostic results and related reports (Medical Test Results) •Discharge reports •Medical imaging and image findings (Medical Imaging Studies and Reports) A distinction is made between country A and country B scenarios. For the so-called country B scenarios, in which data from EU citizens is transmitted to Germany, in addition to the NCPeH specialist service, an NCPeH proxy is available, as well a client-side WebApp that runs in the browser (name: EU web portal WebApp). gematik examines the contract for the development, provision and operation of the NCPeH proxy and the EU web portal (including the EU web portal WebApp) to an external party Service providers available.
