Market exploration client separation Städtische Werke Netz + Service GmbH (NSG) is currently preparing a project to adapt its SAP-IS-U billing system as part of the reprivatization of the water supply in Kassel and Vellmar. Takes over on July 1st, 2027 the NSG takes on the role of the water supplier and will in future bill the drinking water supply according to price law. The current billing is based on the fee law based on the water supply statutes of the city of Kassel. There is currently one in the existing system joint billing of drinking water and wastewater in fee law. Both services are billed in the same SAP‑IS‑U client and use common master data structures (e.g. business partners, contract accounts/cash register symbols).
