Tender Details

The Rastatt district, as the public transport authority in accordance with Section 6 Paragraph 1 of the Baden-Württemberg Public Transport Act and the responsible authority in accordance with Regulation (EC) No. 1370/2007, intends to award a public service contract (gross contract) on a competitive basis Start of operations when the timetable changes in December 2027. The award is based on the joint local transport plan of the Baden-Württemberg authorities of the Karlsruher Verkehrsverbund from 2014 in the respectively updated or Supplemented version for the provision of licensed regular services in the form of bus routes and ALT services (on-demand services in accordance with Section 44 PBefG) in the “Southern District of Rastatt II” line bundle for eight years. The line bundle exists currently from the bus lines X45, 246, 248, 262, 263, 264, 264s, 265 and 266 including the additional ALT services on the lines 248, 263, 265 and 266 (call taxi) whose timetables can be accessed via the KVV timetable information at www.kvv.de can. According to Section 8a Paragraph 2 Sentence 4 PBefG, the bidder's offer must include the overall performance of the line bundle and is evaluated on the basis of the overall performance. The performance and quality characteristics of the line bundle are currently ready for the start of operations December 2027 has not yet been finally clarified.
