In order to be trained for these tasks, the operational or Team leaders of the MIRG units (First Response/FR and Fire Fighting/FiFi) received training in dealing with liquefied natural gas (LNG) and associated hazards - especially fire hazards. Duration: 4 courses over a period of 2 years (2026 to 2027) for 45 participants plus extension option: another 4 courses over a period of 2 years (2028 to 2029) for at least 46 participants.
