Land inspection of the Ferchland-Grieben ferry The ferry "Ferchland-Grieben" serves to connect the towns of Grieben and Ferchland and is one of the few connection options between the bridges in Tragermünde and Hohenwarthe. The ferry is also a an important means of transport for cycling, which is heavily influenced by tourism due to the Elbe cycle path. It is therefore also important for tourism. The subject of the order is the functional conversion and modernization of the ferry “Ferchland-Grieben” to ensure future ferry operations between Ferchland and Grieben. The scope of services includes in particular the necessary planning, manufacturing, repair, assembly, testing, documentation and commissioning work on the hull, superstructure, corrosion protection, ramps/ferry doors, safety-relevant equipment as well as the electrical system, control, drive and auxiliary technology. This includes all necessary coordination with authorities and testing centers and the client as well as the creation of the necessary approval, testing, verification and inventory documents.
