Shell construction work The subject of the tender is shell construction work in the course of roof renovation and structural adjustments in the chemical storage area of the chemistry laboratory building (built 1969-1972), University of Konstanz. The building is part of one listed ensemble and will be used for ongoing research and teaching throughout the entire construction period. The services are carried out under cramped construction site conditions, with limited storage space and under consideration Existing components contaminated with pollutants (including asbestos, PCBs, PAHs) and increased requirements for occupational safety, fire and explosion protection (partial areas with EX zones). Main quantities and components: • Approx. 20 m3 attic elevation made of reinforced concrete C30/37 • Reinforcement approx. 2, 400 kg Reinforcing steel B500B • approx. 3, 200 pieces of reinforcement connections (adhesive anchors) • Approx. 130 core drillings in reinforced concrete • 10 pieces of closure for window and roof openings • Monitoring class 2 Special requirements: • Work in ongoing university operations. • Coordination with parallel trades and neighboring construction sites. • Working in sensitive areas with explosion protection requirements (EX zones).
