The Center for Integrative Psychiatry (ZIP) at the University Hospital Schleswig-Holstein is planning comprehensive construction and structural measures at the Kiel location to ensure its suitability for the future. The entire construction project involves several individual buildings and is divided into 2 construction phasesh be carried out offset from each other. The wing buildings (House 1 East, West and South) of the listed House 1 Middle are to be demolished including their foundations. In their place, the symmetry of the system should be restored using new replacement buildings. The remaining itemsands buildings are used to their full extent and must remain functional during the renovation work.
KKE 202.2 Refrigeration systems
The award includes the work of the 1st construction phase, House 1 West.
The refrigeration for the tendered service is provided by two compression refrigeration machines, each with 166kW from the basement of House 1 West. The houses House 1 Middle and House 1 East are accessible via underground cables in the outdoor areas. The recooling machines are cooled using two dry coolers, which are installed on the roof of House 1 West.
