Ventilation systems Kita Together expansion and renovation Short description of the construction project: The existing one will be located on the shared property of the “Miteinander” daycare center and the “Sturmiusschule” in Fulda (Kohlhaus district). Daycare center expanded. The existing building (component A) from the 1950s was converted into a daycare center in 2013 and is now being expanded to the east by a new building with an intermediate building (components F and G). The subject of the measure is the expansion of the daycare center currently 3 to 6 groups in the future (3 U3 and 3 Ü3 groups) including the necessary side rooms, functional areas and the adaptation of the outdoor facilities with new playgrounds. Parts of the existing building will be renovated as part of the measure rebuilt. Ventilation trade description: The daycare center will be equipped with three central ventilation systems (RLT) for ventilation. A central system with approx. 11, 000 m³/h supplies the main areas of use in components A, F and G (including Group and sleeping rooms, multi-purpose and exercise rooms, play corridors, staff rooms). The system is installed on the 1st floor of component F and has heat recovery, combined heating/cooling registers (change-over) and a needs-based Volume flow control (CO₂-led). The supply air is distributed via a duct network in the suspended ceilings. A second RLT system with approx. 2000 m³/h supplies the warm-up kitchen with associated side rooms in component A.
