KARLA administration and education center - facade access system Facade access system As part of the redesign of the district office area, the Karlsruhe district is planning, among other things, the construction of a new service building to replace the existing development at the location Beiertheimer Allee 2 in Karlsruhe. In the future, several offices will be combined at this location and a future-oriented new development will be created for the Karlsruhe district for around 1, 000 employees. The use of the new building includes: planned with public service areas of the Karlsruhe district office, public conference areas, office rooms, a company restaurant, seminar and Training areas for external tenants, a public underground car park, social rooms, ancillary rooms, a Daycare center and a vocational school in separate ownership. The building has an L-shaped floor plan with its greatest extent in the east-west direction (underground) measuring approximately 147m overall and a length in the north-south direction of approximately 87m. This Floor plan extends underground to the 2nd basement and above ground to the 4th floor (low-rise areas). From the 5th floor onwards, the building is reduced to the high-rise floor plan, which is roughly in the center of the L-shaped low-rise building and has a rectangular floor plan of approx. 26.6m x 34.7m.
