Property planning buildings and interiors, Lph. 5-8 and special services Jürgen Schumann Barracks, Building 28, implementation of fire protection concept - property planning for buildings and interiors Building 28 is undergoing extensive structural renovation and restructuring ongoing operations. The aim of the measure is the functional, design and fire protection renewal while at the same time taking monument protection into account. The focus is on the dismantling of outdated components and surfaces as well as on the New construction of contemporary space and usage concepts. Inside the building, floors, ceilings, walls and doors will be completely renovated. Existing floor structures and coverings are removed and replaced with new, long-lasting and heavy-duty coverings, especially in classrooms, hallways and sanitary rooms. Raised floors are dismantled and replaced with new substructures. Robust, easy-care surfaces are used in sanitary areas, supplemented by new partition systems and Sanitary fittings. Some of the interior walls will be rebuilt, adjusted or closed to allow for modified room layouts.
