Within the nationwide network of model projects Smart Cities, the Hof district has been one of a total of 73 model regions for the funding program of the Federal Ministry of Living, Urban development and construction qualified. The "Hoferland.digital" project focuses on the development of spatial strategies and goals for sustainable digitization. The Smart City strategy plays a central role here by coordinating digital initiatives at the district levelAnd bring together the interests of the 27 cities and municipalities.
