The Republic of Uganda hasreceived financing from the World Bank toward the cost of the Lake Victoria Environment Management Project II and intends to applypart of the proceeds toward payments under the contract for Supply of Heavy Duty Equipment for National WaterAnd SewerageCorporation (NWSC). 2.The Ministry of Water andEnvironment now invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for LotNo.DescriptionQty Lot 1 Diesel dredging equipment2 no. Lot 2aTipper truck1 no. 2bBackhoe loader 1 no. 2cJetting/cesspool truck1 no. 2dSelf-loader1 no. 3. Bidding will be conductedthrough the International Competitive Bidding proceduresas specified in the World Bank's Guidelines: Guidelines: Procurement of Goods, Works andNon-Consulting Services under IBRD Loans and IDA Creditsd Bank's policy on conflict of interest. 4. .A complete set of biddingdocuments in English may be purchased by interested eligible bidders upon the submission of a writtenapplication to the address (8)below and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of Uganda Shillings One Hundred Thousand Only (UGX100, 000). The method of payment willbe by bank advice form that may be obtained from the AccountsDepartment at the Ministry of Water and Environment. Payment can be made in any bank and the payment details presented to theProcurement and Disposal Unit before obtaining a copy of the bidding document. 6.
