Introduction of a SaaS solution for supplier management The current status of supplier management is characterized by an outdated, technically limited system landscape that meets today's requirements for transparency, efficiency and compliance no longer corresponds. The existing supplier management tool (VFM portal), which was developed internally by the company, is no longer up to date both functionally and technologically. It does not have sufficient process integration, only offers limited user-friendliness and is increasingly complex to operate. In addition, there is no comprehensive and consistent SAP connection, which means that a lot of data is maintained manually and from various sources such as Excel and Share Point lists need to be put together. There is currently no holistic, company-wide concept for supplier management, both systemically and procedurally. The new supplier management tool pursues the goal of being company-wide To modernize, standardize and make supplier management fit for the future.
